When you subscribe to Mandala Gift, we will send you fabric each month to complete your quilt over the course of 15 months.

You use your skills to hand trace and colour in using Crayola 64 colour Wax Crayons. It is a fun and quiet addictive technique. Once you have coloured in your Mandalas, you then embroider the outlines, and quilt your monthly blocks, ready to be connected together using Pauline’s Rogers Sashing techniques.

This block of the month includes:

  • Mandala designs to trace onto beautiful light batik

  • Colour charts for colouring your Mandala’s with Crayons

  • All your fabric for front and back of your quilt

  • Pauline Roger’s “Quilt As You Go” method to assemble

  • 15 Monthly patterns with full instructions on how to put your quilt together

  • We are now a fully Indonesian company

    As Jacky has relocated to Bali.

    The charges shown are in AUD (or your local currency), but the final charges will be in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah).
    Don't panic though, we've correctly adjusted the prices to our AUD benchmark. 😊

  • Cotton combed 40s

    All Wacky Jacky's cotton and rayon batik are handstamped and handmade in a studio of Indonesian textile artisans. They won't fray under the needles, and your quilt will be machine washable (we've proven this!).

  • Difference in colours

    Due to the nature of batik and other handmade fabrics, you'll find a slight difference in colour and design as each had been made uniquely by hand.
